Three Nights At Wembley - 5 Seconds of Summer Review

5 Seconds of Summer, 'Calum, Luke,Michael and Ashton' an Australian band that used to be the support act of One Direction, Since then their fan base has grown rapidly and they are now on their headline sell out tour around the world.  These lads have even more bigger things coming for them.... Good Luck Guys! 

The Band (not boyband) 5 Seconds of Summer had their last three shows of the Uk & Ireland tour 'Rock out with your socks out' at Wembley Arena, London on the weekend. The Lads sold out all three of their London tour dates... Sold Out?! Hell yeahhhh.

 I was lucky enough to attend the shows which were amazing may I add. 

5SOS fans are up to anything to be noticed by the four good-looking  lads,as I walked around the arena the fan dedication was 100% shown from homemade T-shirts to bananas... oh and also parents dressing up #MUMSOS.  

Me and my friend Lauren managed to find some seriously dedicated fans, including these ones in the banana costumes. Many fans made their own T-shirts with 'Irwin' , 'Hood' , 'Hemmings' and 'Clifford' on the back showing their support for these lads! 

5 Seconds of Summer now have their own record label called ' Hi or Hey Records'  where they signed their support act 'Hey Violet'.  Hey Violet were surprisingly good as I thought I

wouldn't enjoy the kind of music they play however I was so wrong! Hey Violet will 100% surprise you with how good they are, not only do they sing their own songs... they give others a chance who may not know their songs,to sing along with some covers as well including 'Blank Space' by Taylor Swift. 

As soon as 5SOS came on stage, the atmosphere changed! the fans got even more pumped and ready for the show!  5SOS started their set off by rocking the place down!  I haven't been to a good concert in ages and these three concerts were definitely the best concerts I've ever been too! 5SOS were amazing and I suggest you go see them on their tour which is next off too New Zealand, Australia and America. I promise you won't regret it! During the concert 5SOS invite one lucky fan on stage to play guitar which gets the whole audience pumped! During the second show Michael had an accident on stage which involved the pyro however Michael was back out on stage the next day performing for their amazing fans... shows nothing stops these lads caring about their fans eh?

5 Seconds of Summer also perform their new song 'Permanent Vacation'.

Jacob Whitesides - London Show Review

Jacob Whitesides recently finished his first ever European Tour. Jacob Started his career on social media websites such as youtube, Facebook,twitter and vine.  Jacob has had a passion for singing for many years and has successfully started a career out of it.

I was lucky enough to attend one of his London shows  (which by the way... sold out in miniutes). Jacob chose his own talented support act 'Esmee Denters'. Jacob mostly performed his own original songs which was a great experience for fans to hear live for the first time ever! Jacob also sang songs by Ed Sheeran and One Direction which are well known artists everywhere, this gave the opportunity for parents, carers or guardians to sing along as they may not know the lyrics of Jacob songs.

Throughout the gig, Jacob was interacting with fans and making the gig feel more personal. Some fans were even luckily enough to receive a free guitar pick from Jacob. 

Jacob is going to be coming back to the UK very soon as he announces a International Tour! Jacob is an amazing singer that you should not miss out on!

London Fashion Week - My Experience

This Season AW15, I worked at London Fashion Week which was a very inspirational experience.  I started off by taking models to castings which was really interesting because you got to see what happens behind the scenes. 

This included lots of traveling around London and working long hours. I went backstage to the Fashion Scout (Portugal Fashion) Show And The Amanda Wakeley Presentation which was the most exciting moments of the week. Most people are very stereotypical when talking about models and the fashion industry, many of you might think models do not eat however this is not true. Whilst working at London Fashion Week I've had burgers with models and seen the type of backstage food they provide for staff and the models. The type of food they provide is healthy and unhealthy such as fruit,salad,brownies,crisps,popcorn and cupcakes. This has probably surprised a few people. I got to see how the models get ready for the shows and presentation. Backstage is chaos but very exciting and interesting, it was nice to see what goes on backstage for once. Each and every model looked stunning with the natural makeup and elegant clothing. 

The castings and fittings were very interesting, I came across nice people throughout working at London Fashion Week and I felt very comfortable and at home. During castings models are made to either walk in flats or high heels in front of the designer and her/his team. They should present their 'book' or 'card' to the designer and should be as confident as possible.  I learnt what model scouts look for when scouting for models, I can now tell what type of women and men have the potential to be models.  Amanda Wakeley has amazing designs, I was honestly the heart eyed emoji when I saw her collection.

You can also buy a travel size bottle which is great for travelling to places that have hot and cold weather, It is a 30ml bottle and it is priced at £10. What a bargain for such a great product. 

Bourjois healthy mix serum is possibly the best foundation (gel) I've ever used, It's very smooth when applied and smells gorgeous throughout the day! It has a 16 hour radiance-boosting even and a revived complexion.This is priced at £10.99.

I 100% recommend this product because it's absolutely amazing! The only downside is it's only a 30ml bottle however you can buy a similar product, Bourjois Foundation (Radiance Revel) which is £9.99. 

L'OREAL paris are known for great makeup products and the New nude magique (Blur cream) proves this.  It absolutely works wonders, it blurs pores and refines skin texture.  I rely on this product a lot because it makes my skin look amazing most of the time. It has micro-blur technology concentrated with light reflectors which causes a blurring effect for a flawless nude complexion. This is priced at £9.99 and it is absolutely worth buying. I've heard you can get similar versions but I have yet to try them. 

Balmi lip balm is perfect for the cold weather, everyone gets bad chapped lips during cold and windy weather however this can be prevented or smoothed by using Balmi lip balm. I got this product for £2.00 due to a deal however it is usually priced at £4.99. Balmi lip balm comes in different flavours and different colour packaging, the one i'm using at the moment is 'Coconut'. I recommend you treating yourself to a Balmi lip balm, It's honestly worth it.

 The reason I chose these colours and outfits are because it's not your stereotypical valentines day outfit. It something different that would make you stand out but in a good way. Each outfit would look amazing for valentines day. You must go and buy yourself a bomber jacket, It's in season at the moment and looks great with any outfit.

Leather? The Trend is Back! - The London City Girl

                         Hi guys, sorry for not being as active as usual. Leather has come back into style.. YES LEATHER! 
The excitement is real! I recently brought a leather skirt, I was full of excitement.. I couldn't wait to wear it! Leather skirts and trousers are back in style for this season. Want to experiment? Go ahead you won't regret it! the best thing is.. we can get leather skirts and trousers in different colours!! Remember not to over do the leather.. a leather jacket and skirt would not look good in my opinion. 

Accessorising is very important, a clutch bag or handbag is a must have when wearing leather. 

Is leather only for special occasions and parties? Certainly NOT! Leather can be worn anywhere, any time.. you'll still look good! *inserts heart eye emoji*

Cheap Thursdays! - The London City Girl.

Welcome to Cheap Thursdays! I found an item that is unusually cheap such as hair products.

The first product is something that I wouldn't usually need or buy however my hair has been very flat lately and I needed some extreme volume asap!! I found the perfect product for my hair which is the Herbal Essences dry shampoo (uplifting volume).  Herbal Essences are known for great smelling products and this definitely takes the top ten! My hair was left with an amazing citrus smell for days. Most products have to be used more than once to get the effect or smell, this is not the case with this product.  I highly recommend this product, it's perfect for all hair types and it is extremely cheap! I promise that you won't regret using it.

New Year Favourites!

New Year Favourites...

Wow it's 2015.. Welcome to the most futuristic sounding year ever! 

This year I will be expanding my blog, I'm hoping to include more fashion trends,makeup reviews, some music and film reviews. 

One of my first new year favourites has to be from Soap & Glory. As amazing as it looks, it smells 100% better. Soap & Glory products feel so amazing on your skin and the results for smoother skin are even better! I recommend for everyone to buy at least one product from Soap & Glory.  The British store Boots was having an amazing sale on selected products from s&g and they still may have some sale items in the January sales. Come on girls... Let's go shopping! 

Spray is absolutely amazing! Smells great and lasts long.
The Hand gel works well and even smells amazing that you can't help but use it again.
Hand creme keeps hands smooth and smelling gorgeous.

My second new year favourite is from Victoria's Secret. Although VS is expensive, the sales are amazing.  I got a makeup bag that is sparkly and girly for half price which is every good for a product from VS.  The makeup bag was from the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Range, it's perfect for a girly girl like me. I recommend anyone to buy this either for themselves or others. You won't regret it as it's an easily loveable gift.

How to look insanely fabulous on New Years Eve! - The London Look

                                                                   

         Do you want to end 2014 with a bang? Well heres a few tips and ideas on how to achieve the insanely fabulous look. 

Tips. 

1. Bold makeup doesn't suit everyone, stay in your comfort zone and choose the best makeup look that you feel most comfortable in. I think a smokey eye look would look amazing under the stunning fireworks. 

2. Wear something that you feel comfortable in

3.  I suggest wearing sparkly dresses as it's the perfect time of year for a bit of sparkle. 

London is a very bold place where anything goes, sparkly dresses are very popular in London and look amazing.  Topshop and Miss Selfridge sell amazing sparkly dresses for new year.  Even if you can't find the 'perfect' new years eve dress for you, I can assure you that you don't only look amazing in dresses. Jeans and a casual pretty top would still be perfect for nye. As long as you have something sparkly.. you'll look amazing.

WHAT TO WEAR TO A  XMAS FANCY DRESS PARTY!

Christmas fancy dress parties are my favourite and they are far from halloween parties, everyone is dressed festive either as an elf, santa, santa's wife or even an angel.  I chose to dress as an angel as it's simple and needs hardly any work to create the look.  Curled hair is a definite as it looks gorgeous, just like an angel.  I would suggest to be simple on makeup and not to go to heavy as an angel should look natural.  You can either choose to be a good angel or a dark angel.  Both angels are different colours such as white (good angel) and black (for bad angel). Both look  beautiful but just have different colour wings and outfits. I would suggest to buy big wings however big wings are pricey and the small wings were in my budget.

Are you wondering how to get the rock chick look? Are you unsure how you can look classy at the same time?

I created the ultimate classy rock chick look. This looked can be worn at most occasions such as christmas parties, birthdays and concerts.  A dark blue sparkly top is absolutely perfect for this season, It's pretty and expresses a slightly rock chick look. The black ripped jeans are absolutely essential for the rock chick look, ripped jeans gives an edgy look to your outfit which is perfect to wear for concerts.  I never would of thought of buying open toe shoes before because I never really liked them until I saw these perfect shoes in River Island. The shoes are edgy, classy and give the ultimate rock chick look. 

The cheapest item from this outfit is the top, it's £18 from topshop. It's a good price considering the style and look of it.  To give this outfit an extra rock chick look, a leather jacket is absolutely essential.

In the Uk, the weather is getting increasingly colder however I still wanted to be warm and wear a skirt.  The light blue jumper is warm and cosy.
I absolutely love pencil skirts because they fit so well on everybody. I added tights and knee high socks to my outfit because it makes it look cute and it's super warm.  This outfit is my favourite outfit of the week, you can add your own style to it and even wear it anywhere! I recommend you guys to buy at least one item from this outfit!

 CHEAP THURSDAYS 

Welcome to Cheap Thursdays, every Thursday I will be posting about cheap items that I have Recently brought. 

Normally I wouldn't buy shoes in Primark because I heard the shoes were rubbish and not worth buying however it is completely the opposite! I absolutely love heeled boots and I wear them everywhere possible. Primark Heeled boots caught me at such a surprise as I was completely shocked at how comfortable the shoes were! I've been wearing them all week and I've been walking around a lot, my feet feel completely fine when and after wearing these shoes. I brought them for £18 which is cheaper than most places. 
The shoes look perfect and It definitely looks for expensive than it really is. I highly recommend you to purchase a pair of these... Trust me.. you won't regret it!

NIVEA DISASTER

                                                    Nivea Disaster!!!!!!!

Although Nivea is good for your skin and smells nice, It has some downsides. I brought this product mainly because my skin was dry and I needed something other than foundation for my face. The Nivea BB Cream comes in three different shades, Light, medium and dark. I've got pale skin so the light shade would be the right opition however it was completely the opposite, testing it on my skin irritated my spots and made my skin look like a completely different colour. 
I would strongly not recommend this product!

Get the Fall look!

GET THE FALL/AUTUMN 

I really wanted to get the 'perfect' fall outfit as I didn't bother last year and I wanted to try something different. The weather in UK is chilly already which makes it hard to decide what to wear as I hate having layer after layer. So I decided to wear a cute skirt from h&m, a vest top from Brandy Melville, Knee high socks from Primark and cute little heels from Topshop. These items of clothing are probably not warm enough for complete outside bipolar british weather however you can add a few items to make it suitable to wear outside, such as Skin tights which gives you an extra layer and still allows the knee high socks to look good! A cardigan and a leather jacket will still look fashionable and still keep you warm.  Scarfs and Beanies are an extra bonus, It still allows you to look good, keep warm and it's definitely not bulky.

ZOELLA'S BEAUTY PRODUCTS REVIEW

I got given two beautifully presented Zoella goodie bags and I was surprised how amazing each and every product was.  The perfume which was created by the youtuber Zoella ( Zoe Sugg) is intensely amazing, The smell of sweet and springlike essence is amazing and it immediately was my favourite product. The perfume is perfectly fine on skin and the smell does last for a good amount of time which is wonderful and useful.  There is two types of her own makeup bags such as a every eye-catching blue and white spotty one with a printed picture of her eyes and eyebrows and the other makeup bag is a pretty pink one with an animal on the side which i suggest would be good and suitable for very girly girls! The third product that caught my eye was the scented cream however some people may not be able to use it depending on the type of skin they have e.g. sensitive skin. The Cream smells amazing and it is perfectly fine for skin like mine (non-sensitive).  The last two products are amazing for and evening in and for spending time by yourself relaxing as the candle has a relaxing sweet smell and the other product is fizzy bath bomb cubes which is amazing for a relaxing and non-stressful day/evening.  These products are not for everybody, if you're a girly girl then give it a try. Even if you aren't a girly girl, you may like some of these products featured.

You can buy all products from Superdrugs Store if you live in the Uk, At the moment these products are not available in stores in other countries however you can easily buy these products online and they should be in a good price range for teens and students as it is sold at highstreet stores.

I highly recommend these products and it is just perfect for a small gift.

I went to vogue festival and I bought the special deal 12 issues for £19, The bliss fabulips came free with this pack.

This product is for people that have dry lips, It helps take the dry skin off your lips and creates a healthy look, when I tried this product my lips were very dry and within two days of using these products, my lips were smooth and looked healthy. It is priced at £39.00 and can be bought in Selfridges and online. The bliss products include a foaming lip cleanser, lip scrub, instant lip pumper and softening lip balm, I would say you're mad if you don't buy it!
